An equipment passport is a practical working record. It does not replace technical certification, service documentation, an appraisal, or a client acceptance test.

- Manufacturer and model references, serial or client identifiers, location, ownership context, and the level of certainty available.
- 02Accessories
- Controllers, pumps, computers, probes, cables, fixtures, manuals, carts, cases, and other items that affect completeness.
- 03Condition
- Visible state, operating status if supplied by the client, damage observations, contamination questions, and unresolved inspection needs.
- 04Utilities
- Power, gas, water, vacuum, exhaust, network, anchoring, and the authorized party responsible for isolation or disconnection.
- 05Documentation
- Available manuals, service records, calibration context, licenses, decontamination statements, photographs, and client restrictions.

Deinstallation
Define utilities, isolation authority, OEM or specialist involvement, anchoring, environmental questions, and the boundary between shutdown and physical removal.

Pack the system, not only the chassis
Match accessories, loose components, fixtures, computers, documentation, and protective materials to the equipment reference before they separate in transit.

Plan the physical path
Confirm dimensions, weight, center of gravity, doorways, elevators, floor protection, rigging, carts, crates, staging, loading, and destination receiving conditions.

Keep exceptions visible
Missing accessories, unknown operational status, incomplete documentation, contamination concerns, or altered scope should remain attached to the dossier and route decision.
Disposition comparison / no default outcome
The equipment dossier supports the disposition decision.
Specialized equipment requires system detail before a direction is practical. Each path remains subject to ownership, condition, safety, data, client approval, and downstream capability.
Redeployment
Can the client use the system in another approved environment?Destination readiness, completeness, utilities, data, packing, installation handoff, and retained documentation.
Return or transfer
Does ownership, lease, or program policy require a named recipient?Ownership records, return conditions, accessory completeness, data, packing, destination, and proof of handoff.
Remarketing assessment
Is a specialized commercial channel appropriate to evaluate?Detailed dossier, verified ownership, documentation, condition basis, decontamination context, timing, and client approval.
Relocation
Is the primary task a controlled move with context preserved?Deinstallation, rigging, packing, transportation, destination conditions, accessory control, and responsibility handoff.
Retirement
Is continued use no longer the approved direction?Data-bearing components, special material review, disassembly boundaries, downstream route, and project records.
